My name is Edwin Diaz and I am the president of the Westchester Academy Baseball organization. My organization is currently seeking sponsors for players who have been selected to play for one of the Westchester Academy teams. While growing up, I was able to play baseball for a number of highly competitive travel teams in my area due, in large part, to the generosity of sponsors. These sponsors gave me the opportunity to travel and play high caliber baseball in countless cities throughout the northeast and abroad. My hope is that no one player is denied a similar opportunity because of a financial hardship.
The Westchester Academy Baseball program is one of the most competitive and most recognized youth baseball organizations in this area. We now have teams from 13U-18U years old. A good number of our players have transitioned from our program into college baseball as scholarship players. The success of the Westchester Academy Baseball program is directly related to our teams playing in select high quality tournaments and playing only the best competition. We will be traveling to many tournaments this year and facing the best competition in the area. Although our parents pay a participation fee, each player is asked to find sponsors to help offset program costs. On behalf of the Westchester Academy Baseball team, I would like to ask you to join us as a sponsor. It is important that you understand why funds are required. A team participation fee has to be paid for every tournament. We have to provide our own uniforms, hats, helmets, and other miscellaneous expenses such as umpire and professional coaching fees. Since we do not receive any funding from local municipalities or private organizations, it is the responsibility of the players and families to find sponsors who will help each player continue to develop his skills while participating in a highly competitive program.
Your sponsorship will be recognized as either an advertisement on our website or as an acknowledgment in our Westchester Academy Baseball Media Guide. We have five official sponsorship levels but other amounts are accepted. The sponsorship levels are as follows:
