Coach Diaz was a 1st Team All State High School Player at Port Chester High School and was the first player from Westchester County to participate in the Empire State Games for two consecutive years.  Coach Diaz continued his baseball career at Division I, Le Moyne College, where he was named all MAAC second baseman in his senior year. Coach Diaz is currently a math teacher at White Plains High School. 

Mitchell Leeds: 16U Head Coach 
Coach Leeds was an all league performer at Avon Old Farms in 2011 and 2012 and played with Westchester Academy in the summer of 2012. He matriculated to Lafayette College where he was a starting pitcher for all four years. During the summer, Coach Leeds participated in the Cape Cod League, the Northeast Collegiate Baseball League, and was a Cal Ripken collegiate league in the summer of 2013. Most recently, Coach Leeds served a scouting intern for the Boston Red Sox.


Nick Cutsumpas : WA Personal Trainer  – 
White Plains native and graduate of Tufts University. At Tufts, Nick played varsity baseball for four years and was First Team All NESCAC as a catcher. With his extensive experience, Nick holds private lessons for catchers, middle infielders, and all hitters.  

He is also a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine and can provide sport-specific fitness training to enhance strength, increase speed/agility, and improve overall sport performance.

Frank Fuimara : 17U Head Coach 
Has been with the Westchester Academy since the summer of 2013.  He is a graduate of Port Chester High School where he earned four varsity letters in baseball, captaining the Rams his senior year.  Coach Fuimara went on to play at SUNY Purchase alongside fellow Westchester Academy coach Matt Paz where the duo combined to be excellent battery mates.  Coach Fuimara and Coach Paz captained the Purchase Panthers baseball team to their most successful season in school history during the 2013 season, setting new benchmarks in wins and Skyline Conference records while reaching the ECAC final.
